GoToMeeting is a top choice for remote teams. Zoom is the best option for video conferencing-it’s generally affordable, easy to use, and built to scale. Another great feature of GoTo Meeting is its security measures which keep all conversations private and secure.Zoom and GoToMeeting are great conference call services. Additionally, participants don't need to download any special software before they start the meeting they simply click on the link provided in their invitation email or instant message and join right away. The software also provides tools such as screen sharing, whiteboard writing capabilities and audio/video streaming capabilities so users can interact freely during their meeting. With just a few clicks, We can easily schedule or join a meeting by entering name and email address. One of the best features about GoTo Meeting is its user-friendly interface which allows users to set up a meeting in minutes. GoTo Meeting is an excellent web conferencing solution that makes it easy to connect with remote colleagues, clients and customers. Overall, GoToMeeting has become an indispensable tool for me to connect with colleagues, no matter where they are located in the world. Being able to share visual aids and presentations in real-time has made our meetings more dynamic and effective. The screen sharing feature is another valuable tool that I have utilized numerous times to enhance the communication and collaboration among meeting attendees. The audio quality is consistently clear, which is crucial for maintaining productive conversations with other participants. I appreciate the reliability of the software, as I have never experienced any technical difficulties during my meetings. Its setup process is intuitive and easy to navigate, which makes getting started a breeze. In my experience, GoToMeeting has proven to be a highly efficient and user-friendly platform for conducting virtual meetings and webinars. And I don’t have the ability to record meetings, which may be a licensing issue or configuration issue. But this could just be on my side - something that we could configure if we wanted to. I have to go into GoToMeeting, copy my meeting information, and then paste it back into an Outlook appointment. It also doesn’t integrate with Outlook, which is also annoying. For example, we don’t have single sign-on (SSO), so anytime I need to open GoToMeeting, I need to log into my account. I’m realizing the things I like least about GoToMeeting may be on our configuration side. It was a little on the long side, but after a week or so, I had it memorized. It really helps with the show-don’t-tell aspect of my job. It also allows my customer to share their screen so I can see what errors or issues they’re having on their end. I do a lot of demos and walkthroughs with clients and customers, so GoToMeeting is critical for my success. I like that it allows me to hold conference calls and screen share. Just a little more tedious in my opinion. GoToMeeting seems like a step backwards, but it still gets the job done. With WebEx, I could record meetings, create meetings through Outlook, and it had SSO enabled. Overall it does exactly what I need it to do, but I’m really comparing it to WebEx.
